Doesn't come as seen on the website, The deal on this copper clad pot is very good, except I have sent it back twice because it did not come with a lid. That may be the reason it is $60 off. I am sure it is a 5 star quality saucier otherwise.
NO LID, (What's this?) The pan is just what I expected but was very disappointed that there was no lid. The web pape was very misleading.
Great saucier pan, Unlike the other reviewers, I am able to read and comprehend the listing. The Saucier with lid runs over $200. To give this pan 1 star because you can't read is simply ignorant. If you need a lid, buy the set that includes it.
This is a great pan for risotto or sauces where temperature control is important. I bought it over the Mauviel (which costs $340 range without a lid.) as test. It performs better than expected and has held up well so far. I just use the lid from my MC2 set when I need one.
