Healthy Pans!, (What's this?)
I really like this pan .., I am use to farberware .. and this is my first piece of revere.. this is made a lil nicer.. thiner metal, cleans easier.. heats faster. Overall just a nicer appearance .. I say buy this over farberwere ..
Just as I expected!, (What's this?) I have had Revere ware pots in the past, and always loved them. So, when I needed new saucepans, instead of looking at all of the trendy sets available, I went back to my stand-by.
Great product for the money, (What's this?) There have been some people who didn't like the newer Revere cookware. So far I've had no problems with my cookware at all.
I do wait until it has cooled off a lot before washing it in the sink after using it on the stove. Maybe that's what keeps mine from warping like others said theirs has done.
Wanted to update my review.
I've had my set for a couple of years now, and I still do not have any problems, issues, etc., with my Revere cookware set. I let the cookware cool off itself while I eat after cooking with it. Never put a hot frying pan, sauce pan, etc., in cold/cool water - no matter who the manufacturer was.
That's not good for anything like that.
Very satisfactory, (What's this?) I found this item on Amazon very easily which I could not find from the store I first bought it.
Shippment was very quick.
Poor Quality Stainless, (What's this?) I thought I had found a real bargain when I purchased this pan but I was wrong. I left about a half inch of water in this pan on the stove over night and when I decided to wash it this morning I was dismayed to see that the interior of the pan had rusted. Can the "quality" of a "stainless" steel pan possibly be any worse when the stainless is stained with rust? This pan isn't a bargain at any price.
I searched and searched....and found it!, (What's this?) After many years, my two quart saucepan was in great need of a replacement. In all the stores I went to, the pots were either outrageously expensive, had glass lids, or were lined with Teflon.....none of which I wanted. When I saw this Revere pot, I decided this was it....and it's been great. I use it every day for one thing or another, and it heats and cooks well. I am glad that the lid is stainless steel as is the pot since I store it in a kitchen drawer with other utensils.
The best sauce pan ever!, (What's this?) I have tried more expensive cookware and cheaper stuff too and I can tell you that this is the best!
Perfect, (What's this?) This sauce pan was just what I was looking for. My steamer inserts fits perfectly in it. Jusst what I expected.
Consistent quality, (What's this?) I ordered this pot for my elderly father because he'd scorched his other Revere 2qt & it was warped & didn't heat properly anymore. The quality, as usual, is outstanding!! Besides the quality, the weight of the pot is perfect. I dislike the newer pots and pans which purport to heat faster and more evenly, but are impossible to pick up with anything in them for anyone, let alone an elderly person. I grew up with Revere ware and I use it in my own kitchen. Plus, as usual, dealing with Amazon makes the whole experience easy, comes right to the door, well packed, right on time...in today's day of "service", you can't ask for more.
