The lifetime warranty on these pots allows you to wash them in the dishwasher which is great. I have only had discoloring on the inner-bottom portion of my pots but this is expected when cooking with pots that have stainless steel exposed. Scouring with Bar Keepers Friend will remove this but is unnecessary.
I had wanted to upgrade to pots that I felt I would keep for a long time. I initially had bought a set of Calphalon hard anodized aluminum pots based on the discount on Amazon as well as the reviews. I found the pots excessively tedious to clean and were not very uniform with heating. These pots on the other hand are fantastic and I believe I have found the perfect set for myself. I'm going to upgrade my skillets once the coating on my Calphalon skillets give out and am greatly looking forward to the lip that is on the pans as well.
